G-STAR PAVILION FLORENCE / TOKYO / BERLIN

This transparent pavilion lured visitors into a clean and contemporary space, embodying the image of a brand distinguished by rough, stylish, and pure designs. The stark encasing was constructed of two sleek black planes that interpose a glass curtain, through which goods and garments are visible.

Inside, the steel and wood floor blends subtly with the furnishing. A drawing board and open portfolio presented the pavilion’s articles: hand-crafted objects, waxed denim coats, and G-Star’s NY RAW special collection. Jeans slung over a metal bar on the back wall and a cabinet illuminated by a series of strip lights gave the space an industrial sheen.
