A NEW EMBRANCE CONNECTS

An existing house from the ’60s and a small shed in bricks were seamlessly connected by a new wooden frame (Accoya) that acts as a bridge between the two existing buildings. The second floor on the front facade advances into the ground floor level along the garden facade. The architectural process saw most of the remaining walls on the ground floor to be demolished to construct a big, open space and was extended to the garden contrasting the natural relationship between inside and outside.
