The client requested Zoom Industries to connect an existing house from the ’60s with a small shed. We developed a new wooden frame (Accoya) that acts as a bridge between the two existing buildings. The second floor on the front facade advances into the ground floor level along the garden facade.
The architectural process saw most of the remaining walls on the ground floor to be demolished to construct a big open space and was extended to the garden, emphasizing the relationship between inside and outside.
