The architectural concept for G-Star’s headquarters is based on the client’s use of materials. The building’s Corten steel cladding is worn like a second skin, which refines through wear and weather, just like denim. Inside, the polished concrete floor will wear over time to become an aesthetic texture. The outside consists of a robust cube with slits of glass that reflect the sky. The upper levels appear to hover, to defy gravity. A closer look reveals the harmony, rhythm, and strength that is at the core of Zoom Industries architecture.
