The collaborative design process between Zoom Industries and JBC was centralized around the notion of flexibility and visibility.
Architecturally, our goal was to deliver a space where different collections could be integrated easily, and flexible rearranged. In total Zoom Industries developed over 100 stores for JBC, with an average size of 700sqm.
The store’s design mimics the feeling of home, to simulate a feeling of togetherness. Spatial awareness allowed us to utilize the large space purposefully. Fitting rooms were located in the back of the store with curved walls, this was done to highlight the space but also provide a touch of privacy so that customers could experience the products better.
